Kim Shiner
Investigator, Historian

I’m a wife and mother of 2 great kids; I also work for a company in Wilkes-Barre. I started with NEPA Paranormal in October 2008 and Ghost Detectives from the start.

My interest in the paranormal started, because I wanted to find out if the people I loved that passed were ok, and by doing this I have met some great people along the way, we all have our favorite equipment and mine is the ghost box, that is why you may hear Bob or someone else in our group call me “ghost box Kim”, and I hold that name with great pride because it was given to me by Bob himself.

Andrew Humphreys

Hi all. My name is Andrew Humphreys. I study mid-level education (social studies) at Bloomsburg University in Bloomsburg, PA. I currently work as a Teacher and some of my hobbies (other than ghost hunting that is) and past-times are bowling, hunting, watching sports (and playing). I like to lift weights and work out. I also love to go fishing and that’s just to name a few of my hobbies.

I got into the paranormal field when I was about 15 years old. I wanted to prove to myself that what I saw when I was a kid was real. I also wanted to prove to everyone else, who did not believe me, that something on the other side does exist. Before joining the Ghost Detectives team I previously worked with the NEPA home team for a little over a year. Prior to that I had been conducting investigations on my own for about 4 years. I like to take a scientific approach to investigating where I will debunk a claim of activity before I can go ahead and consider it to be paranormal. I have been very excited to start this new adventure, and see where it takes me! That is pretty much all there is to know about me!

Chuck Sanders

Originally from South Cacalacki, I have been in the Philadelphia area for almost 20 years now! After spending a few years heading up my own Paranormal team (Simply Paranormal), then getting into radio and creating a successful Paranormal Radio show (Paranormal Rehab), One day I just got bored with it! Decided it was time to develop some cool video skills! One of the biggest surprises I have ever gotten came about 2 weeks after the radio show ended… I got a phone call from “The Ghost Detectives” it was time to put those skills to work! So here I am, Just another Ghost Detective! I can’t wait to see what the future of this TV show holds. It’s an excellent Team with a direct focus, and a goal… Who needs anything else?

Joseph Towey

My name is Joe and I have been involved in the paranormal field for a little over 5 years. My interest in the paranormal peaked when I met Rich Rozell. He was my mentor and brought me into the Coal Region Paranormal Team as his tech manager. Rich worked as co-workers in the same Juvenile Justice Facility for years. I have a love for technology and love the gadgets, cameras and devices used for investigation. I was recently given the opportunity to join the Ghost Detectives family as a cameraman. I look forward to the upcoming season and working with Bob, Rich and the rest of the team.

Steve Shoemaker

I’ve been in love with horror and the paranormal since the early 80s. I started going to school for photography in 2005 and realized that the 2 mesh well together. I started visiting abandoned asylums and ‘haunted’ places on my own, just trying to get some good photos without thinking of anything paranormal. In late 2010, I figured that getting into a paranormal group would be the best way to be able to photograph creepy places without getting arrested. I currently live in an old church that has been converted into my home/photo studio with my girlfriend and 2 rabbits (THE Bun and Dimi)
